This spell creates a dome of shadow. It begins as a ball of shadow in the caster’s chest before rapidly expanding outwards to a full 5 foot radius. While it is expanding it pushes medium sized objects(10 pounds) that are not being held down by base human strength, from the caster and the center, while anything heavier/actual attacks simply pass through. This lasts for a post cycle.

This spell creates 1 floating spear(s)(scales to 3 at mage) of shadow behind the caster. They follow the caster as they move, unless given a mental command.(Note: must be consciously controlling them). They can be mentally commanded to move with striking force anywhere within 10 feet(20 feet at mage) of the caster as projectiles. The spears are Tin Grade and scale as the caster ranks, up to Iron with Mage rank. These spear(s) last 3 post cycles unless destroyed.

This spell condenses darkness around the caster into a solid piece of shadow. This piece of shadow is 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall,and 6 inches thick. The piece of shadow functions as a wall. It can move up to 10 feet around the caster, but it idly floats around 3 feet from the caster, or so long as there's space for it. The wall is tin grade scales to Iron grade as mage. It lasts 3 post cycles unless destroyed. (scales to 5 post cycles at mage)

This spell grants the caster near-invisibility in dimly lit environments. By weaving dark energy into their cloak or similar garment, the caster becomes one with the shadows, allowing them to move unseen in areas with low lighting. This means he is completely hidden in shadows of the caster’s own creation big enough to hide him. This spell doesn't offer complete invisibility in bright light but significantly enhances the caster's stealth capabilities in darker settings. Like a really good camouflage. This spell lasts for as long as the caster has mana to cast it. Stepping into well-lit areas will dissipate the effect. This spell is particularly useful for covert operations, surveillance, or escaping from dangerous situations. This effect scales to Expert mage with the ability to hide him in normal lit areas This will make him appear to be a normal natural looking shadow. Spells meant to see him, must be of Paige rank or higher to spot him while in the shadows. This scales to Mage rank with Expert mage.
Night's Grasp
Mage-Expert
This spell allows the caster to manipulate shadows to create tendrils, extending the caster's reach and control over their environment. Upon casting, up to three shadow tendrils, each stretching up to 10 feet, emerge from the caster’s own shadow or any magically created shadows within 30 feet of the caster, scaling to 50 feet at Expert. These tendrils are controlled by the caster's hand movements and mental commands, capable of grasping objects, ensnaring foes, or impeding movement. The tendrils are substantial enough to hold or manipulate medium sized objects and can restrain an opponent with up to 2x strength(scales to 3x with expert mage), though they can crush up to Iron grade objects, scaling to cobalt at Expert mage. The spell maintains its effect for up to 4 post cycles or until the caster chooses to dispel it. However, its effectiveness is greatly increased in total darkness, it can effectively hold down someone at mage the bonus raises it to 3x and its 4x at expert.

This spell creates a dome of shadow. It begins as a ball of shadow in the caster’s chest before rapidly expanding outwards to a full 10 foot radius at mage, 15 feet at adept, 20 at Expert. While it is expanding it pushes medium sized objects(20 pounds) that are not being held down by 2x human strength, from the caster and the center. Any sentient being, or heavier object harmlessly passes through. When done expanding, the dome acts as a barrier. Creating a zone of pure darkness inside of it. The dome is Iron grade scaling to cobalt with Expert Mage, and lasts in this state for up as long as the caster has mana to maintain it. While in this state it acts as a solid object.

This spell creates 4 floating spears (scales to 5 at expert mage) of shadow behind the caster. They follow the caster as they move, unless given a mental command. They can be mentally commanded to move with striking force anywhere within 30 feet(50 feet at expert mage) of the caster as projectiles. They also can move effectively around him, within 30 feet, to strike upon mental command.(scales to 45 with Expert mage). If spears are launched outside of the 30 feet range(scales to 50) they can not be retrieved anymore, and are not capable of complex movements outside of 10 feet. The spears are Iron Grade and scale as the caster ranks, up to cobalt with Expert Mage rank. These spears last 5 post cycles unless destroyed. If in pure darkness, the spears can move through shadows unseen, up to 5 feet at a time. Spells meant to see them must be of Paige rank or higher to perceive them. Scaling to mage rank at Expert mage.

This spell condenses darkness around the caster into solid pieces of shadow. These pieces of shadow form into full arm covers, and a breastplate. The pieces of shadow function as flexible functional armor. Each piece of armor can expand once into a solid 3 foot diameter circle shaped wall. Once expanded this way the construct is stationary, and does not move; only one piece of armor can be transformed this way. Each piece functions on its own able to go out to 10 feet away from the caster, scaling to 20 feet at expert Mage Each piece of armor/wall is Iron grade scales to Cobalt grade at expert mage. It lasts as long as the caster has mana for it. In pure darkness, the armor can reform itself at the cost of additional mana.
